How to watch the application that consumes the most download bandwidth on Windows
|
- Download and run the AppNetworkCounter tool.
- Click the 'Receive Speed' column header twice, so AppNetworkCounter will sort the list according to the 'Receive Speed' column and the
application with the highest value will be on the top.
- Go to the Options menu and turn on the 'Hide Inactive Items' and 'Sort On Every Update' options.
- You can now see in real-time, which application consumes the most download bandwidth. In the following sample screenshot, Firefox consumes
the most bandwidth, so it's the first item in the list:
- If you want to watch the application that consumes the most upload bandwidth, simply sort by the 'Send Speed' column instead of 'Receive Speed' column.
